Performing an inspection on gearbox Reintjes WAF 2600 - 2800.getriebe The customer asked us for an inspection to be carried out for Lloyds. For this we had to disassemble the entire gearbox. In the same time we replaced all the seals.

Scope of work:
Our client in Lithuania had problems with the gearbox of the ship. We send our engineers to Lithuania and they immediately disassembled and inspected gearbox Reintjes WAF 561 for any damage. Some parts had to be transported to our workshop for inspection. After inspection and repair, the parts were send back to Lithuania. Our engineers assembled and aligned the gearbox. When everything was done, we performed a test run to check if it was well repaired.

Note:
After several repairs during the last years by repairing companies, our company was asked for an repair and modification for this gearbox. Because our company has the largest coarse analyse department, we were able to do the repair in 3 weeks with all the alignment and flatness checks, line-boring of the gearbox onboard and developing an modification for the PTO-shafts.
