Inspection and repair on UNKNOWN UNKNOWN gearbox

Scope of work:

We performed an inspection and repair on a gearbox.

The conversion operations consists of:

• Inspection of the disassembled bow thruster gearbox.
• Performing of the repair constructions.
• Deploying of the inspection report.
• Stop point.
• Renewing of the spur bevel gear set .
• Renewing of the output shaft.


• Renewing of the input and output bearingbush.
• Renewing of the hole plug.
• Renewing of all seals and bearings.
• Blasting of the gearbox internally and externally.
• Re-assembling of the gearbox.
• Performing a test run.
