Inspection and repair of HANSEN RNF24-BNN-12,5 gearbox

Scope of work:

We performed inspection and repair on a gearbox HANSEN RNF24-BNN-12,5.

The conversion operation consists of:

• Inside first gear set
• In way of the oil seal, rough-turn at seal location, add chrome to surface and fine-turn.
• The toothing is regrinded minimal.


• Inside second gear set
• There was scuffing in way of the pinion shaft.
• The output shaft has been renewed.


• Miscellaneous
• Renewing of the oilpump.
• Renewing of the output gearwheel of the sond stage, assembled on the output shaft.
